“Spazzkid’s From Inland to Union Mixtape” (done on the train on the way to school)

.) Pixeltoy - ??? (Title in Chinese)- I love how this song infuses all the genres that i love. It has a bit of Pop, 8-bit, Rock, Hip Hop and Punk, all in one freakin song! It touches all genres in a matter thats hilarious and amazing. I love the “Punk” part of the song where everything runs in double time. Pogo!

.) Daedelus - Escape Artist - Bossa, Samba and Jungle/Break Beats all work flawlessly when the man in victorian suits does it.

.) Apple Orchard - The Cloud Fleets- AO always brings me to that nostalgic place, a place where Im not sure if Im happy or sad. It’s a great feeling though.

.) Beck - Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometimes- I like Beck’s version than the original, though theres not a lot of difference.

.) Dabrye - Truffle No Shuffle- Theres something about Dabrye’s brand of hip hop that I love. It sounds so Raw and for music done by samplers, this sounds so “organic” to me. I like the part when a monosynth comes in with an almost fart-like sound to it.

.) Goodnight Electric/Turner - Fine- I love the fusion of Synth-pop and Minimal Techno on this song.

.) Headlights - Owl Eyes- I remember playing this song over and over again during the time when I was working night shifts. It took

.) J dilla - Dont Cry- I was told JD did this when he was battling the illness that eventually took his life. Simply a beautiful song.

.) Sebastian - H.a.l- I love the distorted synths and the overall-orcompressed feel of the song over a hip hop groove.

.) The Long Lost - Woebegone (Flying Lotus’ Luckiest Charm)- Honestly, i dont know who The Long Lost is, but Im a big fan of Flying Lotus. I never heard the original, but i feel this remix (i assume) could stand on its own. I could imagine driving along the Hollywood freeway, late at night with this song playing.

.) Math and Physics Club - When We Get Famous- Loved the voice and the jangly guitars and the handclaps!

.) Rocketship - Youre Too Young- “Do what you like, go where you please, with whomever, whenever you please, whatever” I remember dedicating this to a friend a long time ago.

.) The Radio Department - Pet Grief- I loved how everything is drowning in reverb and takes me to an almost dreamy state.

.) Broken Social Scene - Looks just like the Sun- I remember driving home from a show late at night and just singing along to this, even humming along the guitar and drum parts.
